 YEREVAN STATE CHAMBER THEATRE Excursus
 The Yerevan State Chamber Theatre is situated in the center of Yerevan, beside the Matenadaran.
The famous painter Benik Petrosyan designed the entrance door.  "Angel", author Rafael Khachaturyan.
 In the theater’s hall to the left is the creation of Felix Eghiazaryan.  Benik Petrosyan designs the chandelier.  On the mirror, there is a note saying: “This is how we picture an ideal spectator”.
 In the hall of the theater - sculpture ensemble "The Smithy of Hephaestus", author Rafael Khachaturyan.  The Blue Room. In this room for many years, jazz bands and other famous musicians like Yan Gilan, Chekasin, Virginia McDonald, Levon Malxasyan, Gypsy Kings and many others.
 Samvel Ghazaryan’s sculptures - “The Musicians”.  After entering the room, we can see the beautiful Wall sculpture called
“The Spectator”.   The black jazz band around the piano and
the arrangement of the walls are the work of the painter Rafael Khachaturyan.
 In the Fe-gallery from time to time are exposed the works of different artists.
In this cozy room, around the fireplace it is always warm.
  Benik Petrosyan’s sculptures – “The Pianist”,
“The Girlfriends” complete the room.  “The Beatles Club” – a small cafe, where you can enjoy some coffee or other drinks during the brakes.  In the “Pink” room, you can see the things we are proud of.    In the Audience hall, we have about 155 seats. All of the comfortable seats offer a great view of the stage, which is well equipped with modern lights and sounds effects.
  The small stage, which has an exceptional design, is situated on the second floor.   In this a room where TV programs are been shot and sometimes the children’s studio-theatre holds here its discussions, auditions etc.
 The theater library includes a couple of thousand books – the gift
of the famous artist Hrant Vopyan.  In addition, the retro style furniture and other things
from the 50’s give this room a special look.  A room in the second floor is called the “Actor’s room”
this is where our actors come after the play.
 The administrative part is in the hall on the second floor
on the both sides of it are the offices and the rehearsal room. P.S. We are always happy to see you among our guests
