Lusine Yernjakyan


Born on May 17, 1987, in Yerevan. In 2009, she graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinematography, the department of directing (Raf. Jrbashyan’s course). During her years of study she had staged the performances "Sonata for Cello" and "The Marriage of Figaro". Since 2007 Lusine Yernjakyan is a director at the Yerevan State Chamber Theater. Here in 2008 she staged the performance "A Man is Wanted" (by Karol Freshet’s play "Jean and Beatrice"), for which she was awarded the “Artavazd” nomination for "Best Young Director" 2007-2008 years and in 2009 for the performance "It Doesn’t Metter with Whom" (by L. Gersh’s play "The butterflies are free"). In 2009 Lusine participated at the 8th International Theater Festival after A. Chekhov in Moscow, at the "Young director’s laboratory from CIS countries" programme. Today Lusine Yernjakyan is working on new projects that we will soon see at the Yerevan State Chamber Theatre.
